Community Health Systems Completes Divestiture of San Angelo, Texas Hospital

FRANKLIN, Tenn.–()–Community Health Systems, Inc. (NYSE: CYH) announced today that a subsidiary of the Company has completed the sale of 171-bed San Angelo Community Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas, and its associated assets to subsidiaries of Shannon Health System. The effective date of the transaction is October 24, 2020.

The hospital in this transaction is among the planned divestitures discussed on the Company’s second quarter 2020 earnings call.
