Over 1,200 without power in Elmwood Village | News – Buffalo News

More than 1,200 homes and businesses, most in the northern portion of Buffalos Elmwood Village, remained without power early Saturday morning, according to National Grid.
Power was expected to be restored by 5 p.m., the utility company stated in its interactive online outage map.
There were also a handful of power outages in the citys North Buffalo and Black Rock neighborhoods. Each outage impacted fewer than five customers, National Grid stated, adding electrical service was expected to return before noon in most instances.
At the height of power outages Friday in North Buffalo, 11,000 homes and businesses were impacted. Crews repaired damaged underground electrical cables and power was restored by 4 a.m.
